Norman Hay Engineering (NHE) achieves SafeContractor accreditation
Norman Hay Engineering (NHE) is proud to have achieved SafeContractor accreditation as it recognises the importance we place on workplace Health & Safety in our manufacture, installation and servicing of process plant.
Achieving the accreditation involves businesses undergoing a rigorous assessment process to review and audit their health and safety procedures, quality processes and environmental management, as well as examining their track record for safe practice on and off site. Contractors who achieve the status are included on a database which allows potential and existing customers to vet them and ensure their procedures are of the highest quality.
We have therefore worked to achieve certification with SafeContractor so our customers can be sure of the quality of our people and our work on site.
Commenting on the recent successful attainment of this accreditation, Managing Director, Mike Priddle said “We strive to continuously refine our processes and manufacturing operations in order to deliver the most value to our customers, but also to ensure a safe and positive workplace is achieved for every member of staff. I’m delighted we have this highly regarded accreditation in our portfolio which highlights our commitment to health and safety.”
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
