New £6.6m Plasticraft contract for NHE

NHE is pleased to announce that Plasticraft, part of its Chemical Engineering Division, secured a £6.6m contract from Rolls-Royce for process plant and equipment to be installed in Singapore.

NHE, the UK’s foremost supplier of surface treatment equipment to the global aerospace sector, has secured this prestigious contract for the supply of 10 chemical processing lines for the manufacture of aero engine components.

Together with an existing contract for a major installation in Saudi Arabia, this project ensures continuity of production and consolidates NHE’s leading position internationally.

NHE personnel will carry out the plant installation, commissioning and operator training on-site at the end user facility in Singapore as well as providing ongoing Service Support.

Peter Hay, Chairman of Norman Hay plc said:

“We consider this project to be an integral part of our global business strategy, with over half of our sales revenue generated overseas and one third of our total work force now located in the Asia-Pacific region.

“Supplying high technology chemical systems, combined with bespoke engineering solutions, for the aerospace, automotive, oil & gas and construction industries around the world is proving to be an increasingly successful formula for the Group”.
